I have eaten in this restaurant twice and will definitely be going back This time my husband and I shared the breaded calamari for starters, delicious and a generous portion.
Our main courses were a tasty mixed skewer and filet of lamb and beef. We headed straight for the Samos Restaurant on the first evening after checking into our hotel, as it was essentially just next door. We could not have been happier. The flavours, the dishes, the friendliness of the staff and - especially - the unfailing ouzo Just round the corner from our hotel and a great find.
We had moussaka and papoutsakia as our mains. Not very adventurous but we had had a long day. Food obviously home prepared and the best moussaka Ive had in a long time. Service was Had dinner one evening and left stuffed due the very large portions.
Starter of deep fried feta was very enjoyable followed by mixed grill plate with pork chop, souvlaki, meatball gyros, rice and potatoes. Very tasty but had leave half the main course as so Highly recommend the all vegetarian not vegan samos-plate with feta cheese in puff pastry, tzatziki, grilled paprika and fried eggplant and zucchini.
I asked for something a bit off the menu after that and they were able to I visit this restaurant due my stopover to spain. I had a mixed grill. The food was tasty, the service friendly, the owner offered 1 also 2 if you like ouzo for free.
